Add chemicals from this step to the shallow end.
Add salt from this step to the shallow end, then brush completely to the deep end. Add no more than 80 lbs (2 bags) of salt at one time. Wait 24-36 hours for the salt to circulate in the pool, then continue to the next step.
Add stabilizer to the skimmer and swirl around until it all leaves the basket. Add in increments of at most 1.5 lbs at a time, waiting 2 hours between each dose. Ensure your filter has been cleaned recently before adding stabilizer from this step.
Mix calcium chloride in a bucket of pool water, no more than 5 lbs at a time. Note that the solution will get very hot while mixing. Do not touch. Add the mixed solution evenly around the deep end, waiting 1 hour between each dose and before continuing to the next step.
Add chemicals from this step to the deep end, in maximum increments of 4 lbs at a time, waiting 1 hour between doses and before continuing to the next step.
Add chemicals from this step dispersed evenly around the deep end, in maximum doses of 0.5 gallons or 4 lbs at a time, waiting 1 hour between doses and before swimming.
